Christine Rasmussen (born 1987) is a professional artist with a BA from U.C. Berkeley in Art Practice and Peace & Conflict Studies.
Raised in Pakistan, Vietnam and the United States by American parents, her paintings reflect
her nomadic upbringing, exploring themes of aloneness/belonging,
boundaries/connection and femininity/humanity.
Christine’s work has been exhibited in multiple juried exhibitions, including
at George Billis Gallery LA, LAUNCH LA and Brand Art Center. Her work
has been featured in numerous publications including Artillery, ShoutOut
LA, Art & Cake, Pigeon Pages, and Apero Fine Art Catalogue. In 2017,
she was awarded a Chalk Hill Artist Residency and the prestigious Artist
Label Program at Imagery Estate Winery. Her work features in the Hilbert
Museum of California Art and private collections worldwide.
