Maggie Connell

Biography		   


Maggie Connell (b. 1944 in Australia) attended TAFE in Alice Springs and studied drawing, printmaking and painting there.

Her earlier paintings are of colourful naive style people but, she has also painted portraits, still lifes and scenery and birds. More recently, under the influence of Mark Tobey she has been using writing and symbols as a basis for paintings.
