| A collection of intimate paintings cataloging emotional contracts and systems within ourselves. These were the first paintings that came out of me after a long painting block due to the overwhelming events of the past 19 months. The turmoil, isolation, loneliness and ultimate peace was similar to a strange meditation, where everything came at once and than settled to a more forgiving space. I see them as raw, uninterrupted emotion in its purest form, combined with a need to organize/compartmentalize/release all at the same time | ||||
